But this is a medium carbon steel, the quenching performance is not good, 45 steel can be hardened to HRC42~46. 2, 40Cr

40Cr and other alloy structural steels are suitable for shaft parts with medium precision and high speed. These steels have good comprehensive mechanical properties after quenching and quenching.
40Cr is the standard steel number of GB in China, and 40Cr steel is one of the most widely used steels in machinery manufacturing. After quenching and tempering treatment, it has good comprehensive mechanical properties, good low temperature impact toughness and low notch sensitivity. The steel has good hardenability, and can be hardened to 28 to 60 mm when water quenching, and hardened to 15 to 40 mm when oil quenching. This steel is also suitable for cyanidation and high frequency quenching in addition to quenching and tempering. The cutting performance is good. When the hardness is HB174-229, the relative machinability is 60%.
3, 30CrMnTi
It has higher strength and hardenability than 20CrMnTi steel, but the impact toughness is slightly lower. It is mainly used as carburized steel. After carburizing, it can be directly quenched by cooling, with high bending strength and good wear resistance. It can be used after quenching and low temperature tempering or quenching and tempering, and the machinability is medium. It is used to manufacture heavy-duty carburizing parts with large cross-sections in the tractor industry, as well as gears, gear shafts and worms with large forces.
4, 35CrMnSi
Standard: GB/T 3077-1988
35CrMnSi steel is a low-alloy ultra-high-strength steel. It has good comprehensive mechanical properties after heat treatment, high strength, sufficient toughness, hardenability, weldability, and good formability, but low corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. It is used after low temperature tempering or austempering.
35CrMnSi steel is a material with good hardenability. After proper heat treatment, the comprehensive mechanical properties of strength, hardness, toughness and fatigue strength can be obtained, which can adapt to the complicated working conditions of coal mining.
